Mark Kennedy is a Distinguished Engineer in the Security Technology and Response (STAR) group, and has worked for Symantec for nearly 25 years, the last 16 in security. He is a named inventor on 49 issued patents. In conjunction with his work at Symantec, Mark serves on the Board of Directors for the Anti-Malware Testing Standards Organization (AMTSO), which he helped found. He also serves as the Chairman on the IEEE's Industry Connections Security Group (ICSG)'s Executive Committee, as well as the Malware Working Group and Anti-Malware Support Services (AMSS). Mark has spoken at numerous security conferences around the world. In a former life, Mark worked for Mattel Electronics and Atari writing video games for the Intellivision game console.
