Mark Williams is an instructor with the SANS Institute and teaches the MGT514 IT Security Strategic Planning, Policy and Leadership and MGT414 CISSP Preparation Courses. He is also the principal systems security officer at BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee. Mark holds multiple certifications in security and privacy including CISSP, CISA, CRISC, and CIPP/IT. He has authored and taught courses at undergraduate and graduate levels, as well as public seminars around the world. He has worked in public and private sectors in the Americas, Canada, and Europe in the fields of security, compliance, and management.
